Join us for a mindfully curated, comprehensive and convenient 200 hour YTT experience that will empower you to guide others through accessible Vinyasa Flow and Restorative Yoga classes.

This Yoga Alliance recognized YTT combines the flexibility of online and virtual learning with in person instruction.

Live Training Dates:


Sept. 21 and 22, 9am – 6pm

November 23 and 24, 9am – 6pm

February 22 and 23, 9am – 6pm

 

Virtual Training Dates:

 

October 23, 7-9 pm

December 18, 7-9 pm

January 22, 7-9 pm  

HYBRID INSTRUCTION BREAKDOWN

Over a period of 6 months, students will participate in the following:

In-Person – 54 hours 

  • 6 live weekend training dates – In-person instruction with your trainer

Virtual Instruction – 6 hours 

  • 3 (two hour) Zoom calls with your training group on the months that you don’t have live training days.

Online Self-Paced Curriculum – 120 hours with your lead trainer, Mandy Lawson

WHAT TO EXPECT:

In addition to a focus on gentle Vinyasa Flow and Restorative Yoga styles, we will dive deep into the philosophy and true meaning of yoga. 

Through live classroom time (on weekend dates) with your training group, pre-recorded lectures, group discussion in an exclusive Facebook group and on the virtual Zoom calls, reading, written assignments and personal exploration, you’ll leave this training with an understanding of the roots of yoga and how you can share the practice with others.

MEET THE TRAINERS

Kylie Railton

Live Trainer

Kylie Railton has been teaching yoga and dance for over 25 years throughout British Columbia and holds E-RYT 500 RCYT YACEP certifications. Her training has focused on Vinyasa, Restorative, Yin and Kids Yoga.

As she transitioned from the dance industry to yoga she was drawn to the teachings of yoga beyond the mat. She believes yoga is for every body and she invites everyone to explore within them selves how to honor their body everyday.

Mandy Lawson

Lead/Online Trainer

Mandy Lawson, E-RYT 500, RYCT, YACEP is the founder of Costa Yoga and the Director of Costa Yoga School. Through the practices offered in the tradition of yoga, Mandy has shared peace, inspiration and professional development to her numerous students both in-person and online. Through the development of both a 200 and 300 hour yoga teacher training program, in addition to several specialty courses, Mandy continues to impact the lives of many. As the head of Costa Yoga School, she has shared her passion for yoga with all of the Costa Yoga Trainers.

  • A detailed schedule and plan for completion of the online component, live weekend training classes and virtual Zoom meetings
